What Is Legendary Lip Oil?

Legendary Lip Oil is a multi-tasking lip product that provides the benefits of a balm with buildable color and the high-shine finish of a gloss that’s never sticky and ultra-nourishing.

Lip oil is a product made with natural oils to hydrate and protect the lips. This slippery consistency adds a gorgeous shine to lips without stickiness. Lip oils are typically infused with color (we offer eight gorgeous shades) to deliver sheer color. The consistency is between a lip gloss and a lip balm.

What’s the difference between lip oil, lip gloss, and lip balm, you ask? A lip oil is infused with oil to help hydrate the lips while delivering a sheer wash of color. Lip gloss, on the other hand, isn’t typically formulated with nourishing ingredients and sits on top of the lips for an ultra-shiny look. And while lip balm has a wax base that offers temporary relief for dry lips, lip oil penetrates the skin to replenish lost moisture.

Lips don’t have sebaceous oil glands (which are found in the skin on the rest of the body), which means they’re more prone to dryness. How to Apply Legendary Lip Oil

Apply Legendary Lip Oil to bare lips or on top of your chosen lip product as a finishing step for added dimension, hydration, and shine. Use the jumbo doe-foot wand applicator starting in the center of the upper lip, following the contours of the mouth. Then, glide the wand across the entire bottom lip. Reapply as needed.
